What it’s all about

You are an experienced engineer and hands-on manager who knows how to build solid APIs and backend processes, and you have a passion for scalable high performance architectures. In this role, you’ll report to the VP of Engineering, and will split your time between coding and managing a small team of people on and off-shore. You’ll plan deliveries and be accountable for their timeliness and quality, coordinate design, interfaces, integration and plans with other tech teams. Our product management group will work with you on product requirements and you will also participate in architecture and technology decisions, all the while, nurturing your team members’ creativity and encouraging innovation.

What it takes

What it’s all about
We are building a breakthrough weather engine, combining some heavy science with cutting-edge software implementation. You will manage system operations and the infrastructure aspect of our platform as well as databases and data storage, deploying ClimaCell algorithms to the cloud and making sure everything is secure, scalable, and highly efficient.

 You would be responsible for

  • Owning our production platform and keeping it healthy and happy
  • Deploying software, managing configuration, backups, and planning business continuity
  • Managing highly scalable servers, storage, and network deployments in the cloud
  • Monitoring systems, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and scale gracefully
  • Auditing systems security, implementing best practices in order to protect ClimaCell’s proprietary information

What it takes

What it’s all about
ClimaCell analyzes wireless communications to extract weather data for state-of-the-art weather prediction. We’re looking for a Big Data Engineer to build the infrastructure and the core algorithms used by the company. You’ll be pioneering a cutting-edge solution to process massive amounts of data in real time, at an order of magnitude higher spatial and temporal resolution than is possible with competing technologies. The expectations of the role are to design and execute strategies for building our brand while supporting revenue growth initiatives. ClimaCell is looking for a top-notch Digital Marketing Manager with experience in SEM, SEO, paid social, and display advertising. This role is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined growth plan that aligns with our overall marketing and sales strategy. The ideal candidate has broad digital marketing experience as well as deep analytical skills.

What it takes:

  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing to devise targeted acquisition and brand development strategies across various channels from (SEM/SEO) to social to display
  • Creating and managing (traffic, implement, optimize, report) all media campaigns
  • Project management for all campaign execution with internal teams and external vendor partners
  • Defining and tracking all paid media metrics including, but not limited to, budget distributions, goals, and ROI metrics
  • Liaising between marketing, sales, and engineering to optimize customer journey
  • Staying up to date on all digital marketing technology and industry trends
  • Assisting with special marketing projects, as needed

What it takes:

  • 2-5 years full sales cycle experience in B2B software, with focus on finding and closing new business
  • Clear record of quota achievement and metrics-driven approach to prospecting and managing pipeline through to successful close
  • Experience selling disruptive, first-to-market tech (preferably SaaS or API-based)
  • Proficiency in mapping accounts, managing an assigned territory and forecasting accurately on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with an attention to detail
